"I'm a self-taught French-Hungarian visual artist, illustrator, and animator, born in Budapest, 1997. In my work I bring attention to people's unique attributes and oddities, exploring what makes us individuals. My visual style is in large part inspired by comic books, cartoons and artists such as Keith Haring, Hieronymous Bosch, Charlotte Solomon"
Judit Zengővári
Based in Budapest Judit Zengővári works as a freelance illustrator for the past five years. Her work primarily appears on the international market, and she has collaborated with companies such as Subway, The Guardian, and Samsung. She draws inspiration from the small moments of everyday life, which she transforms into playful, life-affirming images.
Iván Tamás
Iván is a visual artist, animation director, and art teacher. His drawings are imprints of inner journeys: at once maps and stories, where the layers of the visible world intertwine with the invisible. Rich in symbols and meticulously crafted, his works explore the complexity of human existence and its hidden patterns.
Juli Tudisco
Juli Tudisco is a half-Hungarian, half-Italian animation director and illustrator, and the proud human of two wonderful cats. She studied animation at MOME, where she completed her MA with her diploma film Children of the Bird, which went on to screen at several international festivals and receive multiple awards.
Johanna Kügerl
Johanna Kügerl works in the digital illustration genre. Her drawings depict buildings and entertainment venues in Budapest that are characteristic of the community or architecture. She examines why people are attached to certain urban spaces and how they shape them in their own image – be it pubs, cafes or cinemas.
Dorka Bartha
Bartha Dorka is originally a historian and works as a journalist in her everyday life, while passionately pursuing photography in her free time. Around 2014, she discovered the off-season atmosphere of Lake Balaton as a subject and has since been cycling the lake’s shores. Her experiences have led to a book and multiple exhibitions.
Juli Jásdi
Juli Jásdi is an illustrator and graphic designer who graduated in graphic design from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and also studied illustration at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design as well as in Hamburg.
She often describes her creative process as a “visual pun,” where the drawing not only illustrates but also generates new meanings.
Matti Varga
Matti Varga has discovered the potential of artistic expression in photography at a fairly young age.
Her photographs are dream-like and are often drenched in nostalgia. Matti is able to observe everyday moments from an entirely new perspective and to present them unconventionally by taking them out of their context.
Lehel Kovács
Lehel Kovács is an internationally acclaimed illustrator based in Budapest. His vibrant, humorous, and nostalgic style evokes both retro aesthetics and the playfulness of pop art. Since 2007, he has been creating illustrations for some of the world’s leading publications – including The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Rolling Stone magazine.
